Fitted a new battery ( actually on Monday!) and ordered oil and filter for a planned change at the weekend. Only had the ti since Sat night, but loving it!

2 things done today...

1. Had the engine remapped by Celtic Tuning. Noticed the difference almost immediately. Much better pull from low down, more instant throttle response, quieter, smoother and now like a petrol engine...just what the engine should be and not strangled by the software.
2. Chipped my wheel a little...! :'( Gotta find some touch up paint now....:'(

Took delivery of the prodrive springs and dampers for my 2.2. A shame I can't afford to have them fitted until after xmas!

actually yesterday, but had the centre exhuast box removed from my 159 TBi

Change in sound is positive, but suprisingly very subtle! - only really noticeable at idle and from 2-3.5k revs under full throttle

Finally got round to sorting out the drivers side puddle light which'd come off its clip and worked its way up inside the door cavity. Now I can see when I get home in these dark wet evenings, hurrah!

My Brera hit 39k. Dread to think what I've spent on petrol, upgrades & maintenance doing 36k of those since August 2011

Just to prove you wrong

Our local wheel refurbers will do touch-ups. They will sort a scratched rim for 15 a wheel.

Just fitted 2 new gas struts for the bonnet. The old ones had started to fail and it needed quite a bit of lifting to get it to rise.

36 delivered from Alfa Romeo Tailgate Struts | Boot Struts | Bonnet Gas Struts

It suites how I like to wash the car, rinse, wash, spray demon shine and wipe with micro fibre cloth. Easy, no messing.

fwiw I bought a 10 kit off ebay. Results are pretty good but I need to do more work on the damaged areas. A bit time consuming and the kit, although it was descibed as for a 159 ti, is I think generic but close enough.

TBH if you can get them done for 15 by a pro I'd go for that option.

Fitted a new set of Tyres today, I managed to get 22K miles from the Accelera's I fitted, they were adequate and did the job. This is the last set as she will be replaced in 2014 with a Petrol VRS estate...

New pzero Nero for the rear thanks to large screw in the tread. I don't think I've ever reached the end of wear on Any tyre. Always have to replace them for some other reason

I will be deleting the check engine code that came on when leaving ASDA the other day. Obviously prefers Morrisons as it only dees it when leaving ASDA! My fault for buying it from somewhere posher than Bristle!
Cant recall the code but its the one for DPF pressure sensor which only shows after the short journey to and from the local ASDA. Its done it three times since I bought it at the beginning of November, each time on exactly the same journey from my house to the old dears (1.5miles), take her shopping (1m)and when we leave totake her home again ,bing! No other symptoms. Drove to Birmingham and back the day before, faultless drive. The 1st time it went out on its own after three days, now I have a code reader, joy! Will obviously have to drive it further afield in future
