Fitted an autoleads PC5-52 to my aftermarket stereo, I now have decent radio receptions and AM/ LW back again, yeah!

It feeds a 12v down the coax radio cable to turn the built in antenna amp on.

One of the things bugging me about aftermarket stereos on the 159 fixed.

Don't know if I should tell this...
Important - this is just I toy I wanted as I'm a huge Nino Rota/Godfather movies 20's 30's etc. fan. Watch this video: http://youtu.be/VwyoywYKhLM?t=23s and guess what happens now when I press my 159's steering wheel

Driven it a few long miles for a sad reason today, as if it understood the seriousness of the situation, there where no weird episodes or sensations. Only a peacefull, effective, fuel efficient machine doing what's supposed to.

Cleaned the MAP and boost sensors, and checked the MAF. MAP was shocking as you would expect but everything else was fine.

Also installed an autoleads pc5-52 as per a previous post to get better radio reception with an aftermarket headunit. I have Kiss FM back now which is a bonus

Radio came back from Pioneer and its working, but it still needs a firmware update which killed it last time.

Going back to see Peter Cambridge in Warwick to rework a few bits on my Spider, I can honestly say he has transformed my car, the handling is unrecognisable. It will be the best 144 you could spend on your Alfa!

I love that interior!

Electric visors? The sun visors above the windscreen?

Took her for her MOT, almost sailed through! A pass all the same!
A couple of advisories, a nail in each of the rear tyres, and worn down inside edge on the drivers front. Had them lasered at Autolusso 12k ago.
Obviously hit a pot hole, passenger side was at -1, drivers at -5!! (Book states -2 each), so setting them at -1. Thankfully the nails hadn't gone all the way through!

Took a long drive upto Autolusso in Bournemouth for an annual service. Had some unplanned but advised work done also. A dpf clean then regen and an underseal at the same time. But all completed promptly and without fuss. Great service from the people there.

What have you had done for 144?
If you've covered it elsewhere could you please provide a link to the thread.
Thanks.

Finally managed to update the firmware in my stereo. Last time I tried it had to back to Pioneer for a month.

Let the east Europeans wash my car as I'm broken at the moment so can't do it myself.

Wish I'd left it dirty as it now full of swirls again. Must get better soon so I can get the DA polisher to work as its just going to bug the hell out of me.

Because you were previously bothered about pushing asthma inducing soot & carcinogens out of your tailpipes

What like the refinery did making the fuel, remember it takes less energy to produce diesel than your less powerful petrol.

You need to get over your diesel hating and except the fact you just have less power to play with. and remind me why you pay so much emission related road tax ?

Smoke limits are still legal. Even on a 2009 car. And now I don't have to dump the same amount of muck out in one blast during a regen in a built up area of where I live.

I'm sure the tail pipes are doing much less damage than my previous 156gta, whilst moving substantially quicker so no regrets here.
