the difference that I'm not so keen on with the Brera bumper as it doesn't come down as low as the 159 bumper and align with the side skirts (esp TI)

Really Phil? I got the opposite impression from looking at it? I thought it would help with the aggressiveness of the stance and the flairs would line up well with the skirts?

I know at least one person has apparently put the brera nose on a 159 ti but I need to see some pictures to confirm my thoughts...

Each to their own on this sort of thing I guess, but those wheels look very odd on a saloon.

Did Alfa ever offer dark 19'' teledials as an option on the 159? I'd be surprised if they did.
They do look great on a coupe though.

The 19'' spoked alloys in silver can't be beaten for me, on either the 159 or Spider.

2 new handbrake cables. Job and a half that, what an odd design having to take half the interior out!

Fitted the Oil Catch Can to the Full Throttle Breather system (the V6 has two breathers - the other is the partial throttle breather). Nominally there to ensure no oil deposits get to the MAF.

Had to fabricate the bracket with an underneath support, and fitted neatly just behind the ECU

I'd thought about this mod previously - this is the best effort at a comparison that I could rustle up:

Interesting that they would quote you 1400 GBP for something they are selling for 1250GBP on ebay. Did that include shipping? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ALFA-ROMEO...item2c62695f19

Had it MOT'd (late again!)

I really must put a reminder in outlook for that!

She blew a 2.01 which is not surprising as he has been very short journeys recently and no blasts down any motorways for ages. Also indicative of me needing to clean the intakes and filters again.

My todo list is getting longer!!

Played Fuel roulette...
Ashford and back: 320miles with 3/8ths of a tank (I live just south of Birmingham), fuel light came on coming home just passing the Leatherhead (J9) on the M25 (120 miles to go), then the limited cruising (and lack of range display) passing oxford on the M40....

Made it 770miles off the tank which is pretty good if you ask me.

That is brilliant! I get about 380 - 400 miles from a tank which costs me about £85 - £90

I Terraclean-ed my engine - got 5 mpg more immediately (and it's only done 26k miles!) and a stutter at full throttle which appears 1 in 10 times has gone.

By 'you' do you mean you paid someone to do it?

Unless you can work at the speed of light, I'm guessing yours isn't a 2.4 Diesel

Interesting placement. Is there at least 600 mm between them? Think this is required for the regs.
