Finished filling it's thank whit 14.24 litres of the most humble, simple, medium priced diesel! I had it whit premium fuels, additives, boosters, cleaners, 2 stroke oil, whatever, from now on it's just diesel.

Just returned from a weekend away to Scotland and was very impressed with the car up and down the m6, drove like a dream, 42mpg not too bad at a steady 70mph in cruising mode. Very enjoyable experience.

I'm sorry but it certainly felt like an attack whether intended or not. I was so excited about having my first mod done to my alfa and you took the wind out of my sails. As previously mentioned I thought this was meant to be fun and light hearted?

Cleaned it!

Autoglym throughout, interior treated with leather cleaner/balm, then washed with shampoo and finished with high resin polish.

Looking lovely!!

Visited Autolusso. Engine flushed followed by new oil, filter & under tray bolts sorted

Had the centre exhaust mount tweaked post Wizard to try to stop the tapping / resonance. Will evaluate over the next few days

Tried to get Blueandme to talk to my phone (iPhone 3gs) - failed. Managed to get it to recognise my old iPod nano so at least I'm making some progress.

After that, I started the car, but I think I must have depleted the battery a bit (hadn't realised the Pod needed charging up) as it took a wee while to turn over and I had a few random warnings on the screen. So I had a perfect excuse to take her on a lengthy drive up the A1M and back to make sure the battery is charged (might get a new one anyway).

Got the car cleaned on the way back too as a treat Looks shiny and black again rather than salty grey-brown

Put some Inlet Cleaning fluid through the plenum via the rear bank oil vapour tube (just downstream of the butterfly on the front on the v6 plenum).
The inlet tube was very dirty with oil mist gunge.
Result smoother running when cold and a displayed 26.5mpg on a short 12 mile journey (from cold)

Am very tempted to fit these myself as I have a bush that needs replacing. Be great to hear how well it all go's and how difficult it is to get them set up once there in.

Keep us updated please.

also did you get them from autolusso? or elsewhere?

Just sidelights, will get some day/dusk/night pics up.

Got them off of a seller I know off of another forum, really good fit, quality SMDs so they are as bright as my other 18 SMD ones and these bought up no error codes!

Cambelt and water pump done at Bauer Millets for a very reasonable fee , done a bit early at 70k as a precaution. Glad I did after some of the stories heard and for a while I had been hearing a kind of wisha-wisha noise at tickover when outside the car. This has now gone so may have been related.

Back in next week for n/s upper ball joint which is clonking.
