We had a drive out to Rayleigh in Essex to pick up a new Bianchi I've just bought. As smooth as ever and a handsome return of 53.4MPG. I bumped into a lovely looking 156 GTA on the journey and a V6 GTV as well.

Had a snowy drive to Autolusso & met up with Dan, aka Pud237.

Got performance friction front pads fitted, two new fog lights & the first ever wizard exhaust system for the Brera

Asked it politely why it said 'Antipollution filter clogged' when that's somewhere in a bin in Ashington!

Mine did that yesterday. Typical cold start random warnings! My DPF is in the garage so 10 out of 10 for guessing it was clogged from that distance

Took my car to JJB in York this morning to have it looked over, having bought it from a non-specialist used car place on Friday. Noticed it was a bit sluggish from cold, so was expecting some tweaks, but boy does she need some love, and now so does my wallet .

Cambelt/Water pump change
Front brakes/pads
MAF/MAP sensors and related bits
Proper service, oil change, filters etc.,
Other assorted minor bits too numerous to mention.
And simply to cheer me up (and by this time my wallet was already stunned and unconscious) a remap .

Off to check what the warranty says, but pretty sure it'll not be worth the cheap paper it was printed on ...grrr!

At least this way, I'll have a sorted car at the end of it.

Picked my Bella up from the bodyshop, where I've had a tiny bit of rust removed from around the rear badge, boot resprayed, and rear badge replaced.

Just got back from Gus at Alfatune after a remap and DPF removal and egr delete. She now accelerates like it should have been from new. Top work.

Got the dent and paint damage sorted on my door where some *&%$ opened their door into it.

Also new Vredestein Ultrac Vorti tyres fitted to replace the woeful Acceleras which were on it since I bought it and it flew through its MOT with flying colours.

Bring on summer!

Got my beautiful car back from receiving care and attention at JJBs in York. Full service, oil change, timing belt/water pump, front brake pads, MAF, MAP etc. etc., and a wee bit of alfatune jiggery pokery magic . Took her for a quick spin (ok, large detour) on my way home and first impressions are very good indeed. Much more responsive in the low end, accelerates like I always imagined an Alfa should, and sounds (for a diesel) very sweet! Going to give her a bit more of a test over the weeknd, but so far, I'm one happy happy newbie alfisti .

Changed the front badge a couple of days ago, the rear wiper arm today (the old one had snapped) and on Friday I'll be changing glow plugs and updating the headlamps.

She's been in the garage for 2 months while I've been working overseas so decided to treat her now I'm back!

Supply and fit repaired gearbox / clutch kit / concentric slave cylinder / dual mass flywheel
Supply and fit new inlet manifold and gasket
Supply and fit O/S and N/S rear coil springs
Supply and fit rear brake pads
Supply and fit N/S front suspension top arm
carry out full service comprising of...
Oil
Oil filter
Air filter

lubes and top ups
Oh and MOT'd her as well, think she's a keeper

Drove it - not needed any work since last September.
Thinking I might clean it - if so first time since last November!

Interesting, I note the red dots on the pedals. These are missing on mine (got it 2nd hand), just assumed the black bit had shrunk or something!

Originaly Ti pedals got some protection..but after some time they got scratched and the condition is not so great...so i remove that layer and polished the pedal pats...but there was nothing to protect them...so i found a company which did the job...they put a layer which will protect them.. There are little gaps after the rubber...so i decide why not to make it with accent of red to match the interior...The gaps are original there...but the same colour..
