I'm very happy how it looks now. I am considering getting Ti skirts to round it off though (there was no decent Ti Tbi's available).

Got any photo's? - I've got the same car and agree that it sits too high so would like to see how it looks thanks.
So much snow and horrible weather. I'll post some soon though.

And yes, I know its all software calculated so not exactly a dyno run, but it makes me feel all warm and fluffy inside.

Gave her a full valet:

Pre-foam & NXT Car Wash
Polish with Ultimate Quik Detailer
Sealed the Alloys with AG Alloy Sealer
Dressed tyres with Endurance High Gloss Tyre Gel + (Used Tyre gel on all other rubber trims in doors boot etc to stop door noise)
Cleaned seats with AG Leather Cleaner

Downsides.... I clearly need a bodyshop to sort the ever increasing amount of missing paint on the usual places! Summer job I reckon.

Looked at it and shook my head at its sorry state. Wheels off the front, waiting on new rack, new disks, new sump plug, and service items.

Treated mine to a Alfatune exhaust today.

Oohh its nice and shiny with a fantasic note it finished the car mods of really well, the icing on the cake. Gus also fine tuned my map to take advantage of the FMIC conversion I'd done.

I thought it went well before. It now pulls like a Saturn 5 rocket the torque delivery is so linear and still no smoke, just shows how good the good re map is.

Gus you really do know your stuff !

Had 4 wheel alignment done again following this suspension upgrade then completed a 400 mile round trip to Kent and back. Pleased to report my back is still in one piece and the suspension mods behaved impeccably!

Coxy, glad to hear Gus has sorted you out I am planning my exhaust mod very soon! I agree, he really does know his stuff!

Oh mate you have no idea !

Its taken a bit of work to get the car ready, as its a 06 its had a few new bits fitted as part of the cause and just a few mods on top

But you would not belive how well it now goes when you ask it, but driven at motorway cruising speeds the mpg is still in the very high 40's.

As I've said the exhaust was the icing on the cake, its a really sweet note and not intrusive while cruising but gives you that tingle when you ask the car to get up and go. I can not recommend the exhaust enough, to be honest its just like everything else Gus puts his name to. Just about as perfect as you can get.

The "Alfatune" full works
60mm Core Full size RS500 FMIC
AEM W/M Injection
Koni struts / Novitec springs
Grooved & Dimpled discs and pads
19" Prodrive wheels, Michelin Pilot Super Sport
Halo's HID's & LED's
Hub dyno'd at well over 500lbft at the wheels ! and that's limited.
Thats over 750 Nm for you figure fiddlers

Ordered my suspension upgrade (Bilstein B12 Pro Kit) from the Alfisti shop, should arrive in a couple of days.

Also, on an unrelated but interesting note. I took pictures of an awesome Frost Pattern that developed on my car overnight. Never quite seen such a pronounced fractal in a frost pattern like that before!

Sorry for posting such horrible cellphone photos of a car completely covered with dirt. My favorite carwash was closed and i promised to post some pics of the eibachs. I was told it will come down about one more centemetre but i am pleased with it allready. It doesn't look like a crosswagon anymore!
The space in the wheelarches looks bigger on these photos than it really is. I wouldn't advice to pick springs that lower it more or you will have trouble with every speedbump in your way.
With this setup speedbumps work. Some parking lots are off limits now though.

Once i managed to get it cleaned up i will make some decent pics outside.

Left the Alfa at the dealer's for a few days to have a leak fixed and poor mpg investigated under warranty and a new alloy, if it ever gets here from Italy which was ordered over a week ago but still hasn't turned up.

Driving a Panda now.

Dropped the car off at Autolusso, as always great service, got a GT loaner, a little rough round the edges, but really showed what a glutton the 159 is! Anyway, got a cambelt service, four wheel alignment and a DPF clean, she was certainly purring on the way home, very smooth.
Seemed to be a glut of 159's in today, four parked out the front when I picked her up
Think I am going to start changing the oil at 10,000mile intervals now!

After getting the engine in tip top condition yesterday, gave it a good clean inside, and did the seats with Simonize leather care cream, seem a little more supple, but will see on the long drive to Oswestry then Hull tomorrow.
