New Wipers and got the car Terracleaned.

Did some pre-clean ecu checks, will check again after tomorrow when I've had chance to do a decent run out.

First impressions are very good, could be psychosomatic though.

received and fitted a brand new optional boot storage net for 1.04 off ebay. Cheaper than the 30 they go for elsewhere!

Received a box with my new 55w HID's in. Waiting for the snow to clear and the air to warm up before I squeeze my hands into the tight gap and fit them!!!

Sorted out all the pipes (19mm down to 13mm I/D hoses) and parts for the head breather oil collector. Just need to make a strong alloy bracket as one fixing is going on the same mount as the ECU.

Winter tyres fitted (last week) and then today MOT, service, new disks and pads, fixed a parking sensor, glow plugs changed and unblocked the wiper sprays.

Well I drove it to the garage and let someone else do it for me....

Having been inspired from the tuning section, AKA Clogz and jbsmith1, I've started the FMIC mod.

Still suffering lack of power, so took the EGR off and gave it a clean, will see if that does the trick.

They are the wrong load rating (92 not 98) & the side walls will split. There are numerous threads on here evidencing this. Buy cheap, pay twice.

V6 Brera

Finally fitted mats. Question: Do I have to poke a hole in the floor to fit the fasteners to secure the driver's mat? Don't like putting holes in my Brera!

Yes you do, if you don't have fasteners, the ford ones fit fine.

I'll stick the wheels on the rear (100kg less should help a little).

Replaced 35w faulty HID's for 55w brand new ones. Also developed the widely known 'no media found' issue - there's always something else to fix!!

Fitted 2 new 55w 6K HID bulbs (metal base type) as the original set that came in the kit had discoloured. (one was at around 4300K and one was at about 12000K green!)

10 minute job, 15 fix, back to being a perfect HID white
