Cured my "no media found" issue when trying to play music from my USB stick, disconnected the battery for 10 minutes.. easy job.

Have just replaced the standard exhaust system on my 159 1750ti Sportwagon with a cat back straight through stainless steel system. Work completed by Dan at Longlife in Carshalton.
Instant improvement to performance and boy does she sound sweet! New K&N air filter fitted as well.

Finally fixed loose trim on bulkhead behind seats in the Spider, had tried double sided tape, Velcro etc but it kept coming loose.Managed to get 3 fir tree fixings through holes on back of trim which I glued in, then pushed fixings into corresponding holes on bulkhead.
At some point in the past the trim must have been taken off for some reason and the original clips lost.
Cheap fix for something that had been bugging me.

Brera 2.2 SV "S"

Finally had to bite the bullet and buy a new battery to replace the original battery from my 07 PLATE Brera! Surely 9 years on one battery has to be some kind of record?! Got a new Varta E44 so all the nuisance electrical messages should go away that had been cropping up.

Gave her a wash and wax too to run the new battery in on my way to the tip to ditch the old one.

Got 18" horshoe alloys re-painted (to chrome shadow) and worn on the car with summer tires.
I left also my 17" winter wheels for repainting (original paint wears off in big pieces), but they will stay silver I think.

Finished installing my new navigation system, see picture.
Dash had a cut-out for the OEM navigation and the new navigation system has the size of the OEM radio so I made myself the frame around it so I don't have to replace the dash trim.
Very pleased with it so far.

Also installed wireless reverse camera (mounted in license plate light holder), however I need to place the transmitter in a different location so I have connection all the time when backing up.
To fix the radio reception problems I ordered the CT27AA08 aerial amplifier so that's next on the list to install.

A few weeks ago I also installed a tow bar, which was a first time for me and it worked out nicely.
The cream leather interior was cleaned and nourished thoroughly with a set from Sonax (Premium Class Leather Set) bought at Halfords which I can recommend.

There are a few cracks in the driver seat that I need to fix, which will be one of next jobs on the list.
Does someone know how to retrieve the interior color code?

Also I need to clean the seat belts, but I'm not sure with what, any recommendations are welcome.

This weekend I'm painting the window switch holders black, which I think is nicer against the cream/black door cards then the original cream color (which gets easily scratched and dirty).

Thatís it for now, still a lot of things to do, but enjoying every step which is most important.

Got these carbon bucket seats for my Brera.

Can anyone recommend a fabricator to make the subframes? Preferably vaguely near Manchester.

Started work on carbon bonnet, first carbon roof should be popping out of the mould in the next week! Exciting!

How much lighter are the seats and what did your insurance company say regarding having no seat (side) air bags?

Stereo looks very neat, did you go for the added Dash Cam option?

I weighed the seats at over 50kgs, which seemed a lot. These are 7 kgs each.

Insurance wasn't fussed but I have specialist insurance

No I did not, in the Netherlands its not common (yet).
But i can always add it in the future if needed.

And thank you again Darranna for answering my questions regarding this android navigation unit, your experience with this unit convinced me to buy the same one.

M.O.T day ... Sailed through, emissions lower than last year thanks to Alfatune, Rhino Diesel Additive and a good old regular Alfa Tune-Up down the M6

You could try Geoff Turton in Widnes on 0151 420 3420, he's in to motorsport, fabrication work and also video gaming for which he makes the best driving seat on the market which includes da da daaa seats with subframes.

The 159s being very 'boring' and reliable at the moment, so fitted a new drivers side wiper.

Successfully stopped the flashing odometer after removing the blue and me unit using MES Proxy Align
I believe resetting the service interval also removed the "change oil" warning on a petrol engine.

Spring has finally come to South London. Friday was glorious, so I washed to Brera and gave the wheels a good clean. I managed to polish the front half of the car with black Turtle Wax polish (hoping to mask some the the new paint chips) then wax with Meguiars carnuba wax. My back said, "Enough!"

This morning, I finished the job. Polished the back half, waxed everything and gave the bonnet a second coat. The car looks glorious.

It's raining now.

Had my first stress whit it a 3 weeks in the fresh 159... Looks Like the EGR isnīt feeling right and it's sticking at open position making the car feel throtle-less no matter what input you give to the pedal, and suddenly waking up after reaching 1800 rpms and launching like a rocket...
