Just had her back to ATS Euromaster to have the oil replaced with Shell Helix 5w40, as they'd put 5w30 in yesterday in error - to be fair to them, they replaced it with no fuss at all. Guess I got a quality flushing oil for free!

Tried a different dab antenna, achieved a better aesthetic but destroyed reception!!! Epic fail. So now ordered an active splitter that works with amplified aerials... Attempt #3 pending.

Not quite as adventurous, but polished out the latest car door dint, left a 3" stripe of white down the drivers door, most of it gone, a small mark left though.

Also yesterday disposed of the old tyres I replaced when I had the alloys refurbed ( the place could not dispose of them), went to quick fit and the guy didn't even want payment for disposal, win win

What brand is it? Do they make them in red? I prefer red, like the Auto Delta one in my GT 3.2.

Well its not a mod or a fix I would have considered, but the total f*@!king eejit that opened their door into mine denting the not so easy to fix swage line thought it would improve the look of my pristine black 159 ti SW. Some people just need to get over their envy. Was probably a BMW driver !

About 15 months ago I fitted a new headunit which I believed to be specific for Alfa's. The sat. nav CD/DVD all worked fine. the bluetooth was a bit weak and the radio reception was crap. Despite fitting Ariel amps the radio just got worse. Last week it gave up all together. Suppliers didn't want know as it was out of warrenty. Just had it replaced with a Kenwood 6250DAB. What a difference. Fitted by Enigma of Ashford. Very pleased. DAB Ariel is almost completely hidden.

New Shiny Bits

Fitted the OE illuminated door sills, and stainless steel kick plates
Downside is they won't light up because I can't see how to access the wires in the door courtesy lamps
Still I found a use for one of the old sill plates, and placed it behind the seats

I recall someone else fitting these and. Believe they connected them up to the lights in the ceiling cluster? Might be worth the search function if you still want them lit!

If you are referring to mine? I fitted the full OE body kit in the last few weeks, and posted photos on this thread. Just waiting for my Autodelta exhaust to arrive, and that's me done with this toy

Thanks, I did a search, and asked, but the only answer is the same as my car manual...."take it to a dealer".
The instructions show it connected to the ceiling cluster, but not how to get it disconnected from above the windscreen! I managed to get the outer cover off, but could not see how to remove the next part to get to the wires
