He sells RS cars for a living so has been threatening to bring round a demonstrator to temp me out of the alfa although it was brutally fast and planted I took him for a spin in the alfa afterwards and he loved it haha.

Not going to be changing it just yet me thinks

159 still look fresh and modern compared to the new Audi models

I think all of the R8 Spiders are like that - its just the hard top that has the 'blade' things on the side

haha yeah, it was a fun drive mind. He's a nutter and we used my "private test track" to attempt vmax in it

Also managed a all 4 wheelspin from 30mph which is impressive you have to admit!

....and the sound!!!! V10 happiness.

Which car looks nicer though - big grille ugliness vs 159 six headlight stunningness? If only 159s came out with a Busso, then even engine sound would be even stevens. The Audi would only have a power advantage then.

I really don't think the Audi beats the 159, or my GT for that matter, in the looks department. I hate big ugly grilles.

Washed and hoovered the car had sun, rain, sleet, snow and hail. Sun back out now and the car looks shiny

Neighbours are convinced that I am mad.

Sorta, is my company. And as I have a few hundred mugs for promo purposes I stole a couple at home to drink coffee from I left it there as a frame of reference for the size.

Is not like it's a relevant cross sell / marketing opportunity...

Fitted genuine front mudflaps I bought of an ebayer, when they arrived there where no clips, so ebayer refunded the full amount.

Finally found some clips that worked:

I had to trim the top clips, but job done and all for 10.

Currently having issues with Veloces over a pair of Prodrive mudflaps I got from them which arrived with the fitting kit for one side only. Managed to get one of the plastic clips for the other side from them, but now they're refusing to supply the other clip. Just been to my local Subaru dealer today as its a Subaru part, so hoping I'll be able to get the last one & then get them fitted soon. If not, might have a look at these Ford ones.
Are they plastic?

Took it's picture

I also nailed some tyre stops to the driveway to stop me hitting the house when I reverse it onto the driveway - it's a little tight on length - and explained to the car why it couldn't live in the garage - it's spoken for!
