Merry Christmas to you all from Adelaide, South Australia! We had a lovely, mild, 22 degree C, sunny day on Christmas day, with ten family members enjoying turkey and plum pudding in our outdoor area.

I got a tyre inflator, blow gun and pressure regulator/water filter to go with the 2.5 HP Fini V twin, 254 litre/minute, belt drive compressor I bought second hand a few days ago. It is in mint condition and barely used. I got it for $200, complete with a brand new 20 metre hose. New, the compressor was about $900, so I am pretty happy. It will be put to very good use in my workshop. In all my years of working on cars since I moved out of my parent's place, I have not acquired my own compressor. I don't know how I did without one really, but good ones are expensive new and the right second hand one didn't turn up previously.

Fitted a set of front mud flaps, managed to get them on before it got too dark. They look quite good, set of rears will be on at the end of jan.

LED lights fitted inside the car, in the boot and number plate on the back. No errors on dashboard. Looks great. Few pictures taken with the phone so not the best quality.

No snow around these parts in fact quite the opposite as I had a couple of drives last week and on Xmas eve in the sun with the top down.

Touched up some stone chips, fitted the new Richbrook valve caps, checked the tyre pressures & fluid levels, unplugged the CTEK.

Car not used since being valeted on 6/12/14 but will be out tomorrow morning for the Pistonheads South Wales breakfast meet & a run to Peterborough tomorrow afternoon.

Went for a blast along the A82 to Arrochar. Gorgeous crisp winters day. Loved every minute as she's running sweet as a peach right now.

Had to jump start it, since I've had the company giulietta it's not had much more Than acouple of miles a week, not helped by the baby seat being in the G, making it easier to take it. Then drove 200 miles, so should be charged now! Would take to 159 over the G on a long trek any day of the week!

Any spelling/ grammatical errors are purely there to annoy!

Got the "Greemlin of the day" happenning this afternoon: "Change engine oil" warning, whit pixelled visual sign of a red blinking oil can!!!
Only that oil was changed on November, whit some s€l€nia apparently distilled from gold ingots, no leaks, no oil in cooling fluid, no tapping or any kind of strange operational gags at the engine, so my guess is that someone forgot to reset the digital "remaining kms to change" alarm...
Also, that pretty pretty and very very helpfull graphic on key inserting tells me, oil quality is 100% good!
Your thoughts for a penny, help this needy one, please!
Do I hate this car? Not yet, butt I'm getting there!

Nice twin tips! Is that functional or just aesthetic?

Is that a typo? I have never heard of a 49 series tyre before.
