No, but in this case I think I'll take the MOT inspector's word for it.

(Now where is that hide-your-head-in-the-sand smilie?)

Figured I would ask here rather than start a new thread....

What is the diameter of the intake pipe where it connects to the airbox?

Brera 2.2 SV "S"

Got serviced at NJS Pershore, with a few niggles fixed that I knew about but forgot to mention and a couple I didn't know about fixed for free. Top service.

Replaced very tired looking front and back badges last night in the dark, only braking one of the boot clips in the process. I'm just waiting for the sun to come up so I can see how shiny they look...

Replaced my broken wing mirror, swapped over the cap from the salvage, door car off and plugged it in, simple job really......if I hadn't dropped one of the three screws holding the mirror in place!!! Pretty much took the whole door apart and could not find it, searched the area round the car too! Seems fairly secure with just two screws but will try and get a repalcement....

Brera 3.2 V6 Q4

Hi all

Well I got my Alfa Owners sticker put on today.

And tried out the OBD2 Bluetooth transmitter to my phone. Which seems to be working well.

Cleaned out blocked scuttle under drivers side windscreen and then resealed the ally plate on the door, then hoovered as much damp out the rear foot well as possible hopefully should stop the leak, I love working on my car whilst at work lol

Cleaned my car interior, hoovered the dirt out of the leather seating, cleaned with a mild detergent and hot water to remove all the dried suncream on passenger seat. fed and polished (twice) the leather with MER.

Will wait until tomorrow to give it a buff and then clean the outside.

May give it a polish, found a buffing machine in my garage loft that has not been out of its box.

Replaced a wing mirror and also the drivers side wiper arm which was badly damaged in two areas after catching the bonnet. The bonnet was touched up last week and the washer fix applied to the wiper mechanism then as well.

Had a run in with a pheasant, knocked my low radiator grill in, so fiddled with it for over an hour to pull out and fix back in place. You'd never know now, apart from the unfortunately dead pheasant at the end of my road!

And polished my exhaust tail pipe with Autosol and wire wool, not bad for less than five minutes work.

I did RAF Cosford & return in mine over the weekend. Motorway on the way up then back down through Wales on the way home. Judging by how skittish it was on standing water, I think the tyres are shot, despite having 3mm left on the Pirelli PZero Neros.

The plan is 4 new Conti sport contact 5's and the wheel refurbs at the same time

Looks good .
Did you have to do any prep work once you'd removed the original number plate holder?

Not really, just hot soapy water to get years of grime off. Wiped with white spirits to degrease and applied the vinyl.

15 mins tops.
