New Head unit fitting - Pioneer

I'm trying to fit a Pioneer head unit as I find the current 2 din one frustrating and not a huge fan of the blue and me.

I already have a Pioneer DEH-P8100BT headunit with Parrot and I also bought the adaptor, but when I wire it up I won't power up. Is this a problem with Alfa wiring?

I've read somthing in the GT forums but want to check with the Brera/159.

Here is the wiring diagram of the Pioneer

This is the wiring adaptor

Does the adapter have an IGN or ACC lead? Usually there are 3 power connections, +12, ground and ign.

Later cars need a canbus adapter to get the switched ign, if it won't power up check fuses as well...
