Yes I see what you mean, a standard car probably wont benefit as much from a custom jobby.
I had a tuning company upgrade their laptop with me a few weeks ago and I had to get all their remap software working on it. There was about 10 different bits of really advanced software and on one of them I found the remap for my car as well as a 156 GTA and had a bit of a play modifying it. Didnt have a clue what I was doing though and the car probably wouldnt have even started when loaded onto the ecu!
