I have the 's' with the produce springs/shocks (obvs) but they are 10 mm lower than the standard model (as far as I know) and the looks along with the 19" wheels are grate. I wouldn't want lower and it handles perfect although you can tell its a lot heavier than my old corsa!
As for remapping/mods I have an itg carbon surround filter (£370) and an angel tuning remap (£200 at the time) all fitted by their head office. Very friendly service although not to happy with the results :/
I bought the itg carbon filter on the basis that they told me a 10 bhp increase from that alone with out a map. Im not neigve enough to believe this but trusted them it would make a big enough difference over the itg/piperx etc paper filter... So gave them the benefit of the doubt.
Well it sounds good
but I'll get onto the performance later...
So at the same time I had them remap the car, a few people had recommended them and I thought £200 for a map was very good.
I had the car on the rolling road before, a pathetic 153 bhp! What happened to my other 32 bhp!? Anyway, with the map and filter I got a nice sound and 1 bhp increase! (proved by an second/after rolling road at the same garage rgs motorsport).
It wasn't all bad because there was a 'smoothness' to the 'curve' and a increase in the lower down rev range although a small drop mid and a tiny increase top end. Also any hesitation (which was nearly non existent in my car) is now gone.
To summarise I can see a small increase in pulling off but feel I have been robbed!
Upon speaking them them the week later they told me that rolling roads don't work and that's why I cannot see an increase on the graph (it was more detailed than that but that is he gist of it).
I am interested in a supercharger (autodelta) but due to the price tag that will be a few years off if I still have the car and then I'll get a new custom map from them.
