on most of them I think it is a clogged inlet... less air and it tries to compensate with more fuel on the initial readings..(could be wrong) if battery, plugs, relay, fuel pump, and injectors are working, then I am going for clogged inlet...
I do see a lot of 8v with this problem (no swirlfaps). injector cleaner seems to help for a while... I refurbished the injectors at bosch and it did not improve. changed plugs and cables and did not help, checked plug relay also... new battery... cleaned maf and map... it helps if I preheat 2x.. strange thing is it also happens in the summer.
and some times it fires perfectly... after 1yr I just pretend it does not happen.. hope to clean inlet soon.
