About a month ago I was lucky enough to finally buy the car I fell in love with the first time I saw it at the London Motor Show in 2006, that is a Brera. I decided to go for the S mainly for the sound of it and the look of the alloys.

Got to say it's fantastic! Truly stunning to drive and so much power.
Not that quick off the mark relative to some, but it just keeps pulling and pulling in any gear.
And the sound...wow! I really must find some tunnels!
I had a 156 2.4 JTD 20v previously which again was an excellent car. Great fun and very good at confusing Porsche Boxster drivers, especially up hills!
Only issue I had with the Brera was a lot of road noise but I realised that it had the wrong tyres on the front (Bridgestone Potenza 235/40 R 19 but the rating was 92Y instead of 96Y). They were tram-lining quite badly too so this morning I dug deep into the wallet and got them replaced with Pirelli P Zero Neros (which are on the rear).
What a difference! Immediately the road noise is vastly reduced and it feels even more stable than before. Hopefully it will stop raining tomorrow so I can give them a thorough test!
