So after 3 156's it's time to move onto a 159.
So I need some advice about which model.
As I only do about 5,000 miles a year , only a 5 mile round commute each work day & weekend trips ,so the possibilty of a 3.2 V6 sounds realistic.
What also appeals is the all wheel drive, living in Aberdeen , we get more than our fair share of snow and ice , (we currently have a Freelander for really bad days).
The other possibility of course is a diesel , but if so which one??
The 2.4 is the only one which has the potential of all wheel drive , but from what I've seen these are rarer than hen's teeth.
I would really like something with a bit of performance, I've had a 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 156's (currently running a 1.6 , which is a fine buzzy engine , but a bit underpowered for the 156.)
Would it be sensible to run a diesel on so low mileage per year with short journeys.
So all you 159 owners out there (esp 3.2 owners ) let me know your thoughts , and what to look out for.
The 3.2 is has chain rather that belts - correct ?? , so something less to worry about.
look forward to hearing all your advice
