159 1.9 General Maintanence
So, at the ripe old age of 19 i've just shoved near enough every penny the Army has given me in the past 12 months into a truly gorgeous Alfa 159, 2009 plated 1.9 Diesel. Only has 33,000 mile on the clock, and not a scratch on her. Its the Limited Edition one with those absolutely stunning alloys, and for the £11,500 I am paying for her, looks the part.
Anyway, I am 20 in August, and insurance till then is a nightmare (looking 4k?!?!), so I'm waiting out till then to get her on the road, I'll make do with my Megane for now.
Anyway, im waffling. She felt great to drive for both me and my Dad (who secretly enjoyed the test drive more than I did), so I have little concerns for reliability at the minute.
However, What should I be looking for? I am not massively scared of getting under the bonnet and checking her out, but what should I really be looking for? Obviously every car has its own personal gripes, but would just like to get a general feel of what to keep an eye on? Its going to sit and be admired on my drive for the next 2 months at least, so in the meantime I might as well give her the once over.
So, I ask the guys who know all about Alfa's, you guys, what kind of products (Oils, etc) and maintanence advice you could give me?
