Boot release button and low frequency vibration
Hello lovely people of the Brera / Spider world.
I normally lurk in the GTA section, but have just spent the weekend with my mum who has an 08 diesel Brera and have a couple of questions...
Spent a fair bit of time fixing up her paintwork where some little sh1te has keyed it down the drivers door. Looks much better now though.
She had a new clutch a few months ago, and it may not be related but sitting in the passenger seat I noticed a low frequency (5 Hz ish probably) vibration at fairly low revs - seemed to be from side to sied, but with the clutch fully engaged. I'm used to a bit of wobble as you are approaching the biting point on my GTA, but this was definitely with the pedal fully up. Any ideas?
Also I had a quick look online to get some prices for new front and rear Alfa badges for her as the current ones are looking a bit old and faded (I have just put new ones on my GTA and on our GTV so she wants new ones too!)
The rear badge listing I saw show the badge as an electrical boot opening switch - like on the Mito. Her badge was a bit wobbly at the edges but wouldn't move in like the Mito one. She claims it has never worked and doesn't believe it is a boot opening switch... So is it? Did all Breras have them and hers just never worked, or is there variation depending on age?
Thanks very much!
