Spend big bucks and get Eagle F1's for assured driving. However, I like to push on but don't spend my money on big brands - I had Nexen 8000's fitted and feel I'm getting as good as I had with the Eagles...but only after they've bedded in! Before that, boy did I feel a chump?
I've run Nexens for years without complaint on a 155, a 166 now a 159SW. These are a little different; big chunky treads that were like jelly when brand new. Never dangerous but they certainly knocked my confidence for a few miles. (It was also February when the snow and frosts were with us, which is why I changed, just to stay safe). As they've run in I can honestly say they are just fine. The car gets chucked around like it did before, wet and dry.
Black Circles deliver to your chosen fitter; I was the lucky - next door to where I work.
