DPF/EGR Problems - removal and remap - Viezu?
May I first apologise for creating yet another DPF related thread, however I am currently 6,000 miles from my car, and am looking for advice on the best solution to my problem!

While I was driving the car decent distances, all was fine. However, I've been in the US for 3 months, and the wife has been driving the car short distances only. The inevitable has happened - EML on, limp mode etc.
The car is in a local non-Alfa Indie garage, who seems to know his stuff, but not specifically Alfa, and is scratching his head at the moment.
Clear the EML and the car drives fine until 3rd gear and approx 3,500rpm. Then limp mode, liht on etc. Apparently it last regened 188 miles ago, however that was probably some weeks ago, as the wife does maybe 5-10 miles a day tops (in 2/3 journeys).
The DPF is showing about 98% clogged, and a forced regen cannot be performed. The garage are going to look into the possibility of a EGR problem, otherwise it could be a u/s DPF.
I was looking to remap and remove the DPF/EGR valve when I got back to the UK at the end of the month, using the Alfatune map att McLennons garage in Edinburgh. However, that is some 3.5 hours away, and in it's current state, the car won't get there!
The garage it's at have offered the same work but using a company called 'Viezu', a worldwide tuning company that work on many marques. Has anyone heard of them?? I hadn't! They offer approx 38Bhp and 85NM increases, as well as deleting the DPF EGR valve. I don't have a price as yet, but do them figure seem reasonable, and can anyone recommend them?
I would prefer to do the whole thing properly and get a custom Alfatune map, and if the car can be fixed until I get back i intend to do that. However, the car is sat at the garage and is not well, so I'm tempted to use this other company, pending further investigation!
Thanks for reading this mammoth post, any comments appreciated!!
