Hmm just a thought, but it could be the start of the camshaft sensor failing, this would make the car stall when it gets up to temperature and usually takes a few mins to start it again as the engine needs to call down. Cheap simple fix.
Hmm around Galway... I know in Loughrea there is a good place (there are better) called Lakeside Motors, its on Barrack Street near the Garda station. They were usually pretty quick and priced ok. Its a family run place.
Good that it isnt the Black one then cause there were so many problems with that car, badly looked after
Apart from Loughrea, the next port of call would be Gerrys in Dublin, I know its quite a drive especially if it dies from time to time but hes an Alfa specialist and theres nothing but praise for him from the ROI section of the site.Another thought, PM a guy called Lacken156, hes down in Wexford but hes pretty good aswell at diagnosing
