Spent the whole day yesterday cleaning, waxing, polishing and tidying the 159 SW....
This morning, after a night of rain.... it looks filthy
I have to say that alloys wheels - nice as they are.... are horrible things to keep clean, even with protective dust spray on them. I would pay I think for solid discs of aluminium! No nooks and crannies to clean.
I think after 6 months of shiney Alfa, the weekly wash/wax is no longer needed.
Oh, and does any other Sportwagon owner have a really annoying rattle in the boot area?
When I say rattle, it sounds more like bodywork shaking. I originally thought it was the spare wheel loose, but on rough roads it sounds terrible.
I had 4 people in the car a few weeks back and we went for a drive over the Yorkshire moors. Tarmac road, but my God... the noise from the back end. One of the passengers commented that is sounded like I had a toolbox rattling around in the boot.
The rear valance is not fitted on with much, but the dealer checked it (and found a busted clip), but that has not cured it.
The self-retracting parcel shelf thing certainly rattles if its open.
Oh well.... joys of Alfa's
