some of you may be familiar with the probs i've had with my Brera, for those that aren't, here's a quick recap.
i bought the car on 20th Jan, two weeks later i had it back to the garage in Prestwich (i'm in York!) for a couple of things. Clutch pedal not lifting up, rough idle, reluctant to start, hill hold unavailable, vehicle protection system unavailable.
They had the car for about 3 days then gave it back to me saying they were happy to release it after finding nothing wrong. fine i thought, then about 2 weeks ago i got the have engine checked message and the car went into limp home mode. i took it to JJB motors in York who diagnosed it as having a faulty MAF sensor and the DPF was 97% blocked. given the options available to me i had a DPF removal and an Alfatune remap.
All was well until last night driving home. i gave it the beans in 3rd/4th gear and the revs were rising but she wasn't accelerating too well.
After some searching on here i've found its likely to be down to the clutch not lifting/master cylinder leaking fluid into the clutch plates. please tell me I'm right?
The car has covered just over 40k on an 08 plate. i'm going to call the garage today to try to get them to pay for the work to be carried out, really don't trust their mechanics to do the work....
