EGR/DPF removal and insurance

I was wondering if anyone that has had a remap with EGR/DPF removal and informed their insurance company could let me know who they are insured with and also if it made a huge difference to their premium?

The reason I'm asking is I am currently with Swift cover, but they refuse to insure me if I have the remap etc - just wondered who to try next so I can get rid of my EGR/DPF!

This is a good question! I was wondering what people have told their insurance about the DPF removal especially?

With Admiral at the moment and they insured me but had to do it as a modified exhaust and remap as they didn't understand.... Think it was 15 for exhaust and 60 for remap... I only admitted it for first time last year after having a few issues with another insurer re non disclosure of another matter, which is currently with Financial Ombudsman Service so thought had better mention mods to the car!
