I'm probably the most recent Veloces customer, having picked up my GTV6 from them on Saturday and my 156 Veloce was originally supplied by them in 2001. Both cars are superb and I found the sales experience of the GTV to be pleasant, friendly and helpful.
Their online parts store is well stocked and prices are good from what I have seen / compared with Alfa Workshop, where I normally get the 156 parts from.
My GTV6 purchase was a great find: x2 owners, all books, keys, documentation, Alfa FSH 1999-2004 and then Jamie Porter Serviced / Maintained 2004-2011. Veloces did a major service / belts etc. for me at cost price, as part of the purchase deal.
Paul also called me a few days before collection to say that the exhaust has had some patching up done on it, would be ok but would need a replacement in due course. He offered me the part at £50 reduction and free fitment. This saved me around £90.00 and also saved me my time and hassle.
I am not sure what some people's problems are... I spent the whole morning up there, got a cuppa, got given all the cars history to inspect, Martin's a GTV man so gave me the full run down on this car, decent test drive considering its Barnet. Got a great V6 at a great price and it needed a major service as was due, so I just said to them, I like this car, I want to buy it, but what can you do to help me with what's needed as part of an on the road deal.
They really couldn't have been more helpful
I'm a happy customer and this is what I got.... (and my first Alfa also from them!).
