A friend of mine who i've known for a good number of years started up his own car tuning company last year, and has been doing very well since the opening.
Him and his business partner have over 15 years experience working on cars between them and they're genuinely nice guys that i always get along with
He recently announced that they can now offer custom stainless steel exhaust systems using Longlife products and their own skills to weld and fit the system
I've opted for them to quote me on a decat, straight through, twin exit system for my 159 which will remove the DPF as well, which they quoted me £480 incl of VAT
Obviously the car needs a map after removing the DPF, so i've asked them to remove the EGR software as well. For this they want another £180 incl of VAT, so £600 all in
Seeing as the likes of AHM are charging £700 for just DPF/EGR delete and a map, is it just a bargain or will their inexperience of dealing with Alfa's show do we reckon?
If the map was no good, i could always take it elsewhere and get a fresh map put on couldn't i?
