Is my clutch on the way out?
Just a quickie!
Experienced an interesting phenomena for 2 days now (it's been damp on the road both times) But here goes..
Basically if i'm in 5th, at about 1500-1800 rpm, and give it the beans, as it goes thru peak torque, it exhibits the following behaviour. The boost drops back from full 5 or so PSI, It sounds like and power delivery feels like an auto.
There is no visible change in revs, and it then picks up again after peak torque. (2500 rpm)
Things I do know, is that the alignment is off on the drivers front wheel (by a fair margin) as discovered when tyres were changed before the MOT
It's a 2.4, it's done 28k and is due a service
The traction light control does not come on
I have had the occasional ABS error message, and last week for the first time got the hill holder unavailable message.
It has not been tuned
