Climate Control Fan

Morning all. Newbie to the forums so please forgive my ignorance if I commit any faux pas! The fan on the climate control of my Alfa is not working - the indicator shows it is on full, but nothing is happening, though it is generating warmth. I am guessing that it may be the fuse. However, the manual says that it is an F02 Maxi Fuse, and seems to suggest that these should only be changed by a professional - has anyone had any experience with this?
Thanks in advance.

Ok, so in the end I took it to an independent Alfa Garage that checked the fuses - all ok. He has suggested that I get an auto electrical bloke to look at it - sounds expensive! If anyone out there has any ideas at all it would be appreciated - or failing that, any 2nd hand air con units/fans?
