Haven't set the nav up yet as I need an XP machine (don't have BootCamp or an emulator on my MacBook), and it needs the CD to update etc, then load onto the memory stick.
Will go to the old 'uns tomorrow and get that job done.
Had a decent run in the 159 today, threw up a few issues, wonder if the great combined knowledge of the forum may point me in the right direction!
1. The temp gauge: I drove around 3 miles, parked up and we were out of the car for approx 40 mins, so temp didn't get chance to rise above the first mark on the gauge. We went in the jewellery quarter (penance for buying the 159....), again the temp started to move up the gauge but only the first 2 notches.
After a 20 min stop i drove out of Brum and up the A38 towards Lichfield. Was really enjoying testing the car on some dual carriage way for the first time, it flies!!
But, the gauge still didn't really move up past the first 2 notches, and by the time I got to the craft centre (again, penance...) the gauge had actually dropped to zero.
I first though about the thermostat, but the fuel economy is still pretty good, and the engine doesn't seem to get overly hot.
Any thoughts? As I've only had the car a day I am just pre-arming myself before asking fro the work to be sorted.
2. Blue and Me: for some random reason it is repeating each track on the ipod. They are saved as MP3 files and I have turned "Audio Repeat" off in the main menu. Any ideas?
3. The "Car Protection System" warning flashes up after I have taken the key fob out, the steering wheel doesn't lock. I've tried wiggling the wheel as the message comes up, no good.
I'm assuming this is the locking bolt, or solenoid, or fob connection, but am open to other suggestions!
Apart from that the car is fantastic! A real sense of solidity and presence on the road. Relaxing to drive but also keen to push on and be thrown about.
I am having to adapt my driving style a little after the GT, but still very enjoyable.
Long may the miles continue!
Moved over to the dark side
And loving it
