The major thing I would say is DEFINITELY either get the seller to do the cambelt and waterpump, or factor it in to your costs and perhaps negotiate a discount. I've just had mine done at 4.5 years old ('07) and 60k and the cambelt was showing signs of major wear - cracking etc.
Collective wisdom seems to be around 4yrs/45k miles per change, as there have been instances of them snapping way before the book mileage (72 or 90k).
I certainly wouldn't let it put you off, but it needs doing - the water pump also as they can seize, which throws the belt off...
Other than that, look for uneven front tyrewear, and whining on the PAS pump (many threads dedicated to these topics). Check for rough starting/idling, the EGR valve might need a clean.
I'm sure I've missed some things, someone will be along to fill in the blanks. Oter than that, the usual checks - Service history, condition of wear/tear items etc. In general. the Brera is pretty solidly built, and there shouldn't bee too much to look out for.
