I don't know, sounds like there's a lot of bias about this whole dimpled/drilled brakes vs plain ones.
As someone else mentioned above, unless we're using different materials, they're all made of the same alloys and grades, as per the shape and finish, there isn't much to it that you can go crazy with and that can affect performance (at least not on our cars).
It wouldn't actually surprise me if Mtec, Tarox etc.. bought their discs from the same suppliers and applied coats and machining themselves.. Apart for the looks, a drilled/grooved disc is meant to allow for better cooling and cleaner surface, so I don't really see how a brand over the other could make much of a difference when they're using similar (or the same) alloys on such simple mechanical operation. If anything the real difference is made by the pads.
I think sometimes we get a bit too carried away with "performance": all in all we're just sitting on a glorified 159 chassis, not a sports car.
