FES issue connecting to engine ECU and ABS

Im trying to connect to a 159 1.9jtdm and im having trouble connecting to the engine and ABS ecu's. Im able to connect to all the others with no problems, im using the ELM 327 1.3+ cable. ive tried both reducing to 9600 for the engine and ive been trying the adaptor 1 as it prompts you in the software, and still nothing. Its funny how im able to connect to all the others ecu's and reset faults etc

Has anyone else had this issue and any pointers would be apperiated ?

(Ive posted up on the FES forum but thought id ask on here also)

For the ABS one, you need to have some more wires connected in the ELM interface IIRC. You should be able to connect to the engine one though.

Odd. Perhaps "rarebear" will be along later. He seems to be a bit of an expert on this.
