Havent been monitoring but why are TI's dropping ?
I can only go on what I see on Autotrader/Pistonheads etc. Being stuck on an industrial estate my lunch hours usually consist of surfing AO or Car adverts and I keep a regular check on 159's for sale just in case
. There does seem to have been a marked drop in 159 prices and there are now some very tempting offers on 1 year old stock for instance in the mid teens or new stuff in the low twenties (both diesel and petrol) Make your own mind up why but I do think it being and oldish car, no longer on the Alfa books, downsizing trends on non premium (even Alfa now call themsleves NEAR premium) and the poor economy all play a part. Certainly the 159 isnt holding its value anywhere like the Giulietta, or the Mito though that now also has much better deals than a year ago. The 159 is still holding up much better than the 156 ever did mind so all in all its good news for the new model if they can make it more competitive still and de-risk buying a brand spanker instead of German metal.
