brera window random opening

Had a neighbour call on me the other day to tell me that my driver's door window was open. Hadn't used the car since the previous day and sure enough, car fully locked, and there it was fully down with rain soaked seat. I know I hadn't left the window open when I parked the car.

Strangely, having been wide open all night, there was no indication that the alarm had gone off. Anybody had any similar occurrences with random window opening or know why it may have happened? Annoyingly the water has gotten into the switch so it now won't operate the windows or the mirrors

Could be the window regulator on the way out. Started doing something similar on mine a few months back before it gave up altogether!

I'd recommend doing the window reset procedure, but ifthe switch is inoperative, that won't help I'm afraid. Could try disconnecting the -ve terminal on the battery for 10 mins to reset it??
