I can't understand the comments about the GT cabin being plasticky - I think it's really good
But then my previous Alfa was an early 156, so maybe things have moved on.
I also don't understand why people say the GT drives "like a boat". Mine certainly doesn't. I would agree the ride is hard, but it goes around corners like it's on rails. (This could be due to the fact that Ned upgraded the ARB bushes though....
I would describe the GT 3.2 as a very fast car with good cornering, but an overly firm ride, especially on bad roads. The seats have a grip like nothing I have experienced before and the engine does of course sound awesome. Park it in a public car park and it is easily the best looking car in there. Other cars look positively ugly when parked next to it. The back end looks particularly hot!
I've test driven a GTV 3.0 and it's nowhere near as good as the GT 3.2 in my opinion. I've also driven several 156 GTAs which I have a lot of respect for, but I fancied a change after owning a 156 2.5 V6 for many years. The one car I really need to try out is the Brera 3.2
