Ok, I have tried to PM a bunch of you and only half got back to me so I'll put it in here instead!

I need to order up the new generation controllers, but that means outlaying 4 figures, so I need to get 10 people to pre-order sets. This is the list of people who said they were "in" on the project, but I need at least 10 of you to agree to pre-order with around a 30 day lead time on delivery of the controllers. The pre-order will be a Paypal payment of 100 to receive 2 x Halo Controllers. As much as I will loose money using Payapl courtesy of its fees, it does offer each of you fraud protection and some recourse should the items never arrive, as you can simply dispute the transaction and get your money straight back from Paypal. I PM'ed a bunch of you on this list and 5 people have agreed, but I need 10 as mentioned. I am not asking for the money right now, I just want to get 10 agreements to it then I will contact the manufacturer and sort out the timescales and place the order. At the point I have to hand over money to them I will ask for the payments from you.

I still am in, but would like to be placed at the bottom of the queue, lots of other things do need done before I can get these amazing lights!

However, if you have 9 and I'm the 10th, I will have no problem in giving the cash to help 'the cause'!

Ok, I am up to 9 commits. 1 more and I will sort the ordering next week.

In terms of documentation get on the wiki, I am putting stuff on there all the time but I cant be responsible for everything unfortunately as I didn't build the prototype headlights. I need all of us to contribute as they go to make the documentation really good!

That said, I am not going to leave anyone high and dry here, so we can work it all out together!

Just a reminder to people that there is documentation available on http://projects.jabawoki.com Its a work in progress but parts lists, tools lists, and headlight splitting instructions are already up for people to get started on.

Don't get the rings from anywhere except the exact ones I have listed or there is a chance they will not work with the controllers. Every type of ring is different (different types of LED's quantities of leds etc) all of which create ea different power requirement.

don't panic on payment yet, this was to confirm an expression of intent before I put the wheels in motion. I will provide paypal account details once I have sorted the orders and timelines etc.
