Not obvious at all!

So what does that entail?

a socket & wrench. There is an adjuster on the headlights that lets you get them pointing in the right direction. Park about a meter away from a wall / fence / garage and adjust until they are level etc.

Its easier to do if you park the car with the original lights in, mark the wall, then match the marks with the new set.

Great. Thanks.

Can I suggest you start a new thread, called 'Halo lights group buy' or similar and then detail the mod and the price in the first post and ask for interest.

I think some people may not be following the thread or realise there is actually something about ready to go. It's got quite long!

So quick update.....

The Schematic is finished....

the Circuit boards are designed.....

and the code is written....

All that remains is to build a few dev units once the new power supplies arrive

I am starting to get excited now

Quick question - will the new units still be compatible with the automatic lights feature?

Yes, absolutely.

They plug into the original lighting loom connections, so don't effect any of the original units features or operation.

...when your lights automatically turn on, the DRL's will automatically dim.

Hi, anyone tried this Osram Led fog/DRL? It has both fog light and DRL function, pretty cool!

New power supplies arrived from china on Friday and they are awesome. They produce the desired voltage (12.5v) even when the input power is as low as 5v !!!!! so they will definitely not flicker when the engine starts.

Projects status is "in progress". I am still refining the electronics and am going to bite the bullet on the manufacture of the PCB's once I am 100% happy with the design. I will get PCB's made for 10 sets, regardless of buyers, so worst case the development sets are more expensive than they needed to be.

Coxy is also waiting for some parts to arrive, such as a special high temp glue to make sure the rings stay in place and units stay together properly despite the heat generated by after-market HID kits.

Once all that is here we will make up 2 sets, one for me and one for Coxy and then release a demo / promotional video to generate some serious interest.

If you are preliminarily interested at the price stated in a prior post (previous page I think) then let me know and i'll add your name to the current list of potential buyers.

--Update--

I now have the final design for the circuit boards complete (thanks Rob!) and they are awesome!! I plan on ordering up enough for 10 sets of lights in the initial run which covers the current demand. Once we have that sorted and a few more out there I will take orders for more.

If you want some, get your name on the list!

Just need to get the boards ordered and assembled. Coxy already has a set of lights built and ready for them.
