my Brera is an 06 plate and I only had 57k miles on it. I currently drive a 14 miles round trip everyday, plus some random trips over 100 miles once every 2 months.
I feel like my car is "held by the throat", that's the impression you get with all that semi-clogged DPF malarkey at the back.
If a removal + remap is only £300, but it guarantees better performance (and I'm not talking about wheelspin or speed, but above all better consumption and less issues with startup and general driving feel), then the hell with that metal lump!
I'll have it removed and replaced, but will keep it just in case.
I would really appreciate some feedback from people who had this surgery done some time ago, to see how the long term situation is.
