I have a problem with my ABS distribution block...and its driving me nuts!
The story so far...So symtons are pulling to the right when braking, ok no problem its probably some air, so I'll just bleed the brakes.
So out came the one-man pressure bleeding kit and I went through the bleeding as normal furthest rear caliper and so on up to the front n/s caliper closest to the pump.
When I opened the front n/s caliper bleeders, there was some fluid in the line that dribbled out and then nothing, yes no fluid was being pushed through, this was the same on both bleeders for that caliper.
So ok I thought, maybe the pipe is blocked, so I took the brake line off the caliper and still no fluid.
I checked the pressure bleeder was still working on another caliper and it was.
So working back through the system I start to check the ABS pump.
With the system still under pressure I opened each line on the pump one at a time, all spewed brake fluid except that front n/s port.
Haha I thought must be the mother of all air locks?
So out came Fiat ECU Scan (and after ordering a lead to connect to the ABS pump) I cycled the pump and every drive/drain/esp valve in turn.
The pump works, and I can hear all the vavles ticking during testing but still no fluid from that port, no fault codes have been logged...but the port remains dry.
I think I've talked my self into changing this ABS pump as it looks like a stuck/seized valve, but I know there are some clever people on here that may see something I've missed.
I've added some screen shots and pick of ABS pump and that n/s front port that remains dry what ever I do.
