Hello everyone, I'm seeking for help with my 159's stereo. Bought this car almost a month ago and so far I LOVE IT! Sorted all dpf/egr/pas reservoir issues and now it's time for a stereo.
Seems that my Alfa has Blaupunkt USB/BT kit fitted (same as someone mentioned before) and I have quite a few problems with it.
System itself functions OK - I can connect my phone via bluetooth and play songs from my phone. Problem is that when I want to play mp3 files from USB stick I always get waterish sound and some random ticking coming from the speakers, very annoying... Although when playing the same files from the phone via BT or burn them to CD - all OK.
After I bought this car I found a mic in glove compartment, for some reason previous owner didn't like it at all
and if I'm right, I'll be able to connect new mic after removing stereo unit and locating Blaupunk kit box so that's not a big problem.
And now serious stuff: decided to do software update with big hope to fix USB sound quality issue. Followed the instructions, update went OK. Unfortunately now my Blaupunkt kit does not work at all - "Changer"
option from pressing SRC
button is gone, only CD
left. Tried both software versions from http://www.blaupunkt.de/index.php?id=894&tx_ddfproducts2_pi1[view]=1145&no_cache=1&L=1
and neither of them brought my Blaupunkt back to life. I can still do software update process by pressing PTT button and switching stereo unit OFF/ON. Then I can pick CHANGER
as my audio source and it updates itself, then OFF/ON again and it's gone
And for the last - anyone knows what is that box near my rearview mirror?
