The 'Downside' of 25,000 Miles from a Pirelli
I can't get the wheel off!
These are Ti 19" Alloys and my Off-Side rear is still the original. I imagine it's never been off in 28 months. I decided that 2mm was getting a little low and thought I would just take the wheel to my tyre depot. (I didn't want them damaging the sills with their equipment).
I've hit the spokes through a wooden batten (to give a turning motion); I've hammered the back of the wheel with a 4x4 post; I've sprayed PlusGas at the joint. I also found a screwdriver sized slot to try to wedge apart.
I did go down to my tyre depot and enquired. They say that they just apply massive force and that they are often called out by the AA to assist.
