Alfa Brera 3.2s 'misfire' help
Hi all, I have had an on-going issue with my Brera 3.2s for a few months now and the car is still in with Alfa (under warranty thank god) being looked at but they have not yet been able to find the fault and I must add not because they haven't tried they have really gone to town trying to find the fault but it is a very unusual one.
The issue is when at cruising speed at around 2500-3000 rpm under load but not accelerating. Under acceleration the car pulls exactly as it should with plenty of power and it starts with no issues but if you hold the throttle still at the rev range mentioned and you keep the throttle where it is the car judders as if it is misfiring or hesitating. It really isn't running as a V6 engine should be.
As I mentioned Alfa have gone through and replaced everything and spent a lot of time trying to find the fault, replacing coils, plugs, airflow metre, fly wheel check, literally everything on the engine side with no success and the problem is its not returning any errors on the diags saying fuel, air, etc. is well within normal parameters.
I was just wondering if anyone has had anything remotely similar on their 3.2 or they might have any suggestions so I could pass on to Alfa? I can't drive a 1.4 diesel any longer!!!!
