Brake Pads

I need brake pads replacement as soon as possible, right now am undecided which pads to go for to deal with My monster 2.4 265 BHP and 460 of torque. Can anybody suggest me a very good and affordable brake pads?

WOW - best I can see them for (unless I am mistaken) is approx 425 for just front discs and pad.

My idea of affordable would sit around 150 / 200 max for front discs and pad. Am I way of the mark...

Standard Mintex are as good as OE, stop the car fine.

Usually on these though the discs wear out at the same time, so expect to have to do the front discs.

I had some issues with Delphi discs, so would avoid those.

The originals are Brembo, though actually made by Ferodo - you'll find both logos' when they are worn.

I've heard Yellowstuff (or Redstuff) pads from EBC are very good. I'm planning to change to Yellowstuff when my (frankly quite poor) OEM ones are worn out.

Yes Yellowstuff. I've got them on mine, excellent pads so much better than the OEM ones.

I have EBC grooved discs and red stuff pads. Excellent!

And noticably less brake dust on the wheels.

Agreed, . Maybe not a 'bargain basement' solution but then brakes aren't really an area to skimp on, . That's exactly what I fitted on my old 2.4 :
