Thumbs Up 4 Wheel alignment in East Midlands.

If anybody is interested, I have just had my 3.2 Q4 Brera 4 wheel aligned following some serious front suspension and steering work. (All 4 track rod ends and the LH top & bottom wishbones).

I the alignment done at GB Flints in Long Eaton, between Nottingham and Derby.

GB Flint Coachworks - Flints for Dints

The cost was 70. For that, they tracked the car as I had really messed it up with the steering repairs and managed to adjust the rear suspension to bring it into tolerance.

The things that they could not fix were the front camber and castor, which were slightly out but even from side to side. There is no adjustment on these features. They supplied me with a full print out and explained what all of the numbers mean.

The car seems to drive much better and is planted on the road. Before it drifted a bit on motorways. Time will tell if the tyre wear is affected but the work carries a 2 year warrenty and I was told to bring it back if I had any issues at all.

Overall, excellent service, their head man did his time at an Alfa main dealers and has a soft spot for them. They even washed the car, hoovered it out and cleaned all of the glass. Bargain!

What settings did you use?

And you will find other posts about moving the front sub-frame to 'correct' the non adjustable settings.
