Thumbs Up Dealer trying to buy my 2.4ti

My white 159ti was in for a new wheel bearing under warranty on Friday. I got a call from one of the sales guys at lunchtime asking what he could do to get me out my car into a new Alfa. I said that there wasn't really a new Alfa I wanted having tried the Giulietta and not been particularly impressed. He was very persistent and explained that he had a customer who was desperate for a white 159ti and would I be prepared to sell it to them. I said not really but everything has its price!! I spoke to the sales guy when I went to collect the car and they again tried to buy the car but their offer was not what I thought the car was worth. I said I would come up with a figure over the weekend and get back to them.
I have never known a dealer so keen to buy a vehicle from me. It is good to turn the tables occasionally

say you want to swap it for an 8c - you'll never hear from him again. Seriously do a check across main dealers simialr cars and then add on your "inconvenience premium" whatever that may be.....

Tell the dealer to give you the buyers details so you can save him the trouble of being a money grabbing middleman. I would think it will all go quiet then
