VDC / ASR and performance
I occasionally lament the performance of the 3.2 v6 and have noticed an occasional hesitation when planting my right foot toward the top of the rev range.
To cut a long story short I have been driving with ASR switched off for the past couple of weeks, not sure if this is placebo effect or not but the car certainly feels quicker and more responsive, and there is no hesitation now (I suspect the hesitation was actually the traction control cutting in too quick).
I have spun the wheels a couple of times, nothing a swift up change can't sort and I do leave VDC on as I know how good it can be in an high speed evasive manouvre
If you haven't already, try it and see what you think
