Rattle/knocking over bumps
I know there have been quite a few posts about this lately but I was hoping for some advise on the noise I've been getting whilst going over uneven surfaces (so most roads then!) at low speeds up to about 30 (definitely not at motorway speeds although motorways tend to be smoother).
The noise is best described as a rattling vibration from the passenger side (around the B piller). My dealer had a look and replaced the upper suspension arm and ball joint but the noise is still there which makes me think it's a loose trim issue.
I've tried lubricating the door seals and have tightened the door hinges and realigned the boot but the problem persists. My next plan was to put the recommended sticky pads on the wheel arch linings but some people seem to suggest that when this is the problem it is more apparent the faster you are going which is the opposite of my noise. Has anyone solved a rattling at low speeds this way?
Other than that I'm open to suggestions, other ideas I've read include missing screws in the undertray or wheel linings, is there anything else?
