Can I ask what the problems were experienced with the incorrect remap on the 200bhp ?
On a practical front, it went into limp mode. It went to the dealers, and they found the ECU hadn't been flashed correctly (their words, I'm beyond the limits of my knowledge now); also found the inlet manifold was badly coked up, the build up of carbon the EGR was excessive and the swirl valves were clogged and inoperable. Their view was this was due to excessively rich mixture as a result of the map (seems reasonable to me, but again, once we are talking EMS I'm out of my depth).
They flashed the ECU back to standard, sorted the valves/inlet manifold issues, and did a forced regen. Got it back to normal.
Spoke to Angel, who came out and remapped it with the correct file. It was fine after that.
It still think it's a good map, and we were probably just unlucky. We had both cars done the same day, one was MY06 and the other MY08, and perhaps the guy got confused. The ti is nothing short of superb and has been since we had it done.
I do fancy something a bit madder, though. And mama will need it to keep up once my 4C is delivered
